Brad
King's commitments to hard work and non- complacent
attitude have allowed him to become not only one of
the most sought after music educators but have enabled
him to become established as a first call session drummer,
performer and clinician.
Since
his birth in Napanee Ont. and his inauspicious beginnings
as a piano player and trumpet player, Brad's
love of the groove and rhythm have made him
seek it out both passionately and professionally.
Brad
has performed live and on record with countless
artists and just as many television/soundtrack projects.
To date Brad has racked up hundreds
of recordings including jingles for ‘Cheerios'&
‘Chevrolet'. Brad has played for artists
such as JUNO award winner, Chester
Knight, Charlie Schock, Warner recording
artist T. Lyles, Whooosh, Salvo, Suzanne Paschall, Butterfinger
and Morally Sound. Country artists like Gord Bamford,
Thomas Wade, The Good Brothers and CCMA winner Brad
Johner have all made use of Brad's
ability to lay it down.
Brad's
relationship with the companies he endorses
has leveraged support for an annual ‘Drum Event' hosted
by his student body. The WhackBamThudd drum event has
been featured on several websites internationally such
as Shure, Sabian and Remo.
Brad's
commitment to those he works with whether
they be a student or a colleague is apparent in his
desire to see those he works with achieve the next level!
